Dr. Benyam Kahsai is a Washington native with a Bachelor of Science degree. He majored in biology with a minor in chemistry at Seattle University. He earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pacific University School of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Dr. Kahsai completed his externships at the Mann-Grandstaff VA in Spokane, Washington, where he concentrated on managing eye diseases, including glaucoma. He also completed externships at the Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute, which enabled him to gain valuable skills and experience in LASIK and cataract pre and post-op management.
Dr. Kahsai is a member of the American Optometric Association and Washington Optometric Association. He is passionate about cooking, hiking, traveling, and occasionally binge-watching Netflix series.
