Dr. James Schrader received his Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University (go Cougs!). He received his Doctor of Optometry degree with distinction in 1992 from Pacific University College of Optometry. He completed a Hospital and Geriatric Care Residency at the Portland Veterans Administration Medical Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association. He has served as a past president of the Snohomish Society of Optometric Physicians and is currently a member. Dr. Schrader is also a proud member of the Everett Rotary Club.
Dr. Schrader has developed several professional interests, including Primary Care Optometry, contact lenses, ocular disease management, laser vision correction, and geriatric vision. He enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Sara, and their two sons, Sam and Matt.
